Privacy policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
PA Cafe (https://pacafe.dnplus.dev, "the Service") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you sign in with a LINE, Google or X account, how we use and keep it, and how you can ask us to delete it.
This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Traditional Chinese version, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.
1. What we collect
You can sign in to the Service with any of:
- LINE Login (including OpenID Connect)
- A Google account
- An X (formerly Twitter) account
Once you agree on the sign-in screen, we receive from that service your:
- Email address
- Display name
- Profile picture
We never receive your password for those services.
2. Why we use it
- Signing in: to confirm it is you and let you into your own cafe.
- Recognising your account: to know which cafes are yours and which ones you are a member of.
- Linking sign-in methods: to connect your LINE, Google or X sign-in to your account on the Service.
We use this data only for these purposes, never for advertising or marketing.
3. How it is kept
You, or residents you have approved, can choose to submit short summaries about cafe tasks. A summary, its author's identifier, the task it refers to, its version and who may see it are stored in that cafe's Cloudflare database. By default only the author can read it; sharing it with the cafe or the owner is an explicit choice. The Service does not collect private conversations or whole documents on its own, and does not use AI to write summaries. An archived summary is no longer given to tasks as context, and deleting it erases its text; retry records keep only a hash and identifiers, never the text.
- Your email, display name and profile picture are stored and managed by Clerk, the identity service we use.
- Clerk keeps the email, display name and picture of the account you sign in with. Cloudflare keeps your Clerk account identifier and cafe memberships, plus the cafe tasks, messages and summaries you choose to provide. Please do not paste sign-in secrets or private documents into a summary.
- Your signed-in state is kept in your browser in a cookie set by Clerk and is cleared when you sign out.
- All data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS.
- This data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to delete it.
4. Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent or otherwise give your personal data to third parties. The one exception is the identity service that provides sign-in: your sign-in data is processed and stored for us by Clerk (Clerk, Inc.) under Clerk's privacy policy. This does not apply where the law requires otherwise, or where a court or authority lawfully demands it.
5. Deleting your data
- Email dnplus@gmail.com to say you want your account deleted, with the email or sign-in method you use. We will delete the data on the Service tied to your account and your user record at Clerk, then reply by email once it is done.
- You can also withdraw the Service's access at any time in your LINE, Google or X account settings. After that, the Service can no longer get your data through that account.
6. Your rights
Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask us to let you see your personal data or give you a copy, to complete or correct it, to stop collecting, processing or using it, and to delete it. Email dnplus@gmail.com.
7. Contact us
For any question about this policy or your data, email dnplus@gmail.com.
8. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we will post it on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
